Omaha native Victoria Olson received her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha where she studied in both the choral and music education programs. There, she served as section leader at Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church, sang in the community chamber ensemble Madrigali et al, and performed regularly with community and professional ensembles in the greater Omaha area. Victoria recently completed her Master’s in Music at the University of Missouri Kansas City’s Conservatory of Music and Dance. While she is now completing the final year of her Artist Certificate, Victoria has been an active collaborator in numerous concerts, large-scale projects, and recitals with numerous ensembles such as Te Deum, Antiqua, and Spire in the Kansas City area. In addition to her vocal studies, Victoria holds a strong interest in music education and has served as clinician and adjudicator for schools and events across the Midwest. In 2017, she made her international debut as the soprano soloist for the Mozart Requiem with the Varna International Opera Company in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria.Victoria is a versatile artist with experience in both traditional and new music, but she specializes in music of the Baroque era with particular interest in cantatas, oratorios, and works for small chamber ensembles.
