Daniel Hansen- Tenor

Daniel Hansen is ecstatic to begin his first year singing with Kantorei! Daniel is originally from San Jose, CA. Currently, he lives in Lawrence, KS and is about to begin a Master's of Music in Vocal Performance at the University of Kansas. Daniel received his Bachelor's in Music and Master's in Education at Truman State University, and studied voice under the wing of Dr. Thomas Hueber. He performed in the premier ensemble, Cantoria, as well as Chamber Choir and University Singers under the direction of Dr. Mark Jennings. Daniel performed internationally in Austria, Hungary and Germany while at Truman. This past year, Daniel joined Te Deum of Kansas City where he was featured as a soloist for the ensemble's performance at the SWACDA conference in Oklahoma City. As well as his first season with Kantorei, Daniel is also a new member of the Kansas City Chorale. He is currently tenor section leader at Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church in Overland Park, KS and a member of the Schola Program at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Kansas City.
