The growth of our institute has yet to find its boundary and we couldn't be happier. 145 students ages 10-22 have enrolled for this great arts event in KC this summer!

We do still need some young men to round out our ensembles! As a result, we are extending the enrollment for select positions until May 15th.

Treble Chorus- We have 6 spots left for boys or girls! First come first serve!

Choristers- We are in need of 5-6 young CHANGED VOICE men age 14-16

Concert Chorale- We would love to find 2-3 tenors age 17-19.

We feel strongly that these will be our best ensembles yet this summer. Be sure to make plans to attend the showcases on June 25-26. www.kantoreikc.org/concerts

Please share with the young singers in your life!

Now entering its third year, Kantorei Summer Choral Institute is unveiling its biggest program yet, complete with a new Midtown location, a new ensemble as well as a collaboration with the UMKC Conservatory in the form of FREE conducting lessons with Dr. Robert Bode for the camp's more advanced students. The panel of clinicians is an exciting group of Musician Educators with a great breadth of knowledge and experience to offer the young people of the area. Dr. Jennaya Robison of Luther College will lead the Concert Chorale, our Pre-Collegiate ensemble comprised of top area high school students. Dr. Mariana Farah of the University of Kansas will be the innaugural clinician of the new Choristers ensemble for highly advanced middle school students and younger high schoolers. Raynard Brown of Parkway Schools in St. Louis will lead our young Treble Chorus designed for the talented young singer seeking formative choral experiences. Kantorei's Artistic Director Chris Munce will again lead the Institute's flagship Choral Scholars, a pre-professional group of college students as well as Kantorei of Kansas City. Kantorei's professional singers will serve as clinicians, teachers and demonstrators for the students throughout the week. See a playlist of highlights from KSCI 2014

Enrollment is open now until May 1st.

Two shocases will be presented at the end of the camp at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception to highlight the student's work. Kantorei will also perform on both showcases.

Sunday, June 28th at 3:00 will feature the Choristers and Treble Chorus.
