Now entering its third year, Kantorei Summer Choral Institute is unveiling its biggest program yet, complete with a new Midtown location, a new ensemble as well as a collaboration with the UMKC Conservatory in the form of FREE conducting lessons with Dr. Robert Bode for the camp's more advanced students. The panel of clinicians is an exciting group of Musician Educators with a great breadth of knowledge and experience to offer the young people of the area. Dr. Jennaya Robison of Luther College will lead the Concert Chorale, our Pre-Collegiate ensemble comprised of top area high school students. Dr. Mariana Farah of the University of Kansas will be the innaugural clinician of the new Choristers ensemble for highly advanced middle school students and younger high schoolers. Raynard Brown of Parkway Schools in St. Louis will lead our young Treble Chorus designed for the talented young singer seeking formative choral experiences. Kantorei's Artistic Director Chris Munce will again lead the Institute's flagship Choral Scholars, a pre-professional group of college students as well as Kantorei of Kansas City. Kantorei's professional singers will serve as clinicians, teachers and demonstrators for the students throughout the week. See a playlist of highlights from KSCI 2014
